How to set SEO optimized titles and descriptions

Setting optimized SEO titles and descriptions for the main pages on your job board can help drive more organic (=unpaid) traffic from job seekers.

Niceboard optimizes all of your job board page titles and basic code structure by default, but you can customize things further to improve your chance of ranking high in search results.

Edit page titles and SEO meta tags in your admin panel, under Manage board > Content > Text & SEO.

What does "optimized" mean?

Our goal with SEO is for your job board site to show up in Google's search results for keywords—search queries that job seekers & employers might type into Google—relevant to your job board.

For example, if you run a designer job board for UX and UI roles, you want your site to appear for people searching for phrases such as "UX designer jobs", "UI designer job board", "find UX and UI designer jobs", etc.

In order to optimize your site for these Google searchers, you should adapt your SEO title to include the most searched for, relevant phrase: "Find UX and UI designer jobs".
